Ash works as a Community Engagement Officer at the Rediscovery Centre, Ireland’s national centre for the circular economy. One of his main projects is the Rediscovery Centre Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Hub, where he is exploring ways to bring circular initiatives together in the region, and engaging local communities in reuse, repair and sharing activities.

Ash has also recently launched a new social enterprise, Guerrilla Education, that delivers accessible financial literacy, emotional intelligence and critical thinking to vulnerable communities in Ireland. Using storytelling and lived experience to build connection, Guerrilla Education focuses on reducing financial and social inequalities, and building stronger communities.

Passionate about environmental and social justice, Ash comes with a wealth of experience from several industries in Australia, France and Ireland. Ash has recently completed a MSc in Design Thinking in Sustainability, has a BBus in Finance and Economics, and thrives in exploring complex problems and developing solutions that benefit both people and the planet.

Beyond his professional life, Ash can be found pushing himself to the limit in the boxing ring or rocking away on the guitar to alt-rock and grunge tunes. He is also passionate about repairing all sorts of bits around the home, Excel Spreadsheets and the Blindboy Podcast.
