I have nearly 20 years’ experience working in the not-for-profit sector across a range of areas including homelessness, suicide and self-harm, and residential care. I currently work within the Local Community Safety Partnership in a local authority role, where I am passionate about strengthening communities, supporting inclusion, and promoting positive wellbeing.

I hold a degree in Social Science and am a qualified and registered mediator specialising in family and community mediation. My work is underpinned by a strong interest in restorative justice, trauma-informed practice, and empowering people to have a voice in the decisions that affect them.

Alongside my core role, I am an experienced trainer, facilitator, and educator, as well as a qualified mindfulness teacher. I am a committed lifelong learner, with ongoing professional development in areas such as youth work, inclusion, anti-bias practice, and participatory engagement.

I am particularly passionate about the Sustainable Development Goals, with a strong interest in those that are sometimes less visible beyond climate action — including wellbeing, reduced inequalities, strong institutions, and inclusive communities.

Outside of work, I’m an independent parent of two teenagers, a dog owner, and I love spending time in nature — whether that’s walking, practicing yoga, or heading off in my camper van.

I also strive to bring a positive and hopeful outlook to my work and life, recognising that even in the face of global challenges, there is always space for connection, compassion, and meaningful change.
