I am an MSc student in Sustainable Development at TU Dublin under the Ireland Fellowship Programme 2025. Before joining the programme, I worked with the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum in Kenya, contributing to just energy transition initiatives and policies.
Alongside my studies, I volunteer with Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI), where I have seen first-hand that people and place are at the heart of sustainable communities. This experience deepened my commitment to integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) responsibilities to drive inclusive and community‑centred impact.
Motivated by this, I enrolled in the SDG Advocate training programme with Development Perspectives. While my academic work provides a strong foundation in the Sustainable Development Goals, the programme will strengthen my confidence and practical skills in advocacy, dialogue, and community engagement. I believe that individuals and communities must be empowered as active contributors to a fairer and more sustainable future. Through my work, I am committed to advancing awareness and action around the SDGs.
