I am an SDG Participant in 2026, with over 20 years of experience in student-centered environments, supporting learners from diverse backgrounds including International non-EU Students, as they work towards their educational goals. I am passionate about inclusion in education and the importance of creating supportive environments where people feel welcomed, valued, and able to succeed.

My interest in the Sustainable Development Goals comes from both my professional experience and my earlier involvement in community development, where I volunteered and developed a strong appreciation for community-led change, participation, and inclusion. These experiences shaped my values around equity, connection, and shared responsibility in building stronger communities.

I also have a strong personal interest in environmental sustainability, particularly through outdoor activities that keep me connected to nature and deepen my awareness of environmental care and protection. This connection reinforces my belief in the importance of protecting natural spaces for future generations.

In addition, I volunteer as an organiser for a social group of over 60 members, which has strengthened my commitment to building inclusive, supportive, and engaged communities. This role has helped me further develop skills in coordination, communication, and fostering a sense of belonging among diverse individuals.

Through the SDG programme, I look forward to deepening my understanding of sustainability and social impact, and exploring practical ways to contribute to more inclusive, resilient, and connected communities.
