I am currently a Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability (HSE&S) Officer, with a background in electrical education and training. My work focuses on promoting safe working practices, environmental responsibility and practical sustainability initiatives.

I hold a H-Dip in Energy Retrofit Management, which has strengthened my knowledge of building energy performance, domestic retrofit, ventilation, renewable energy and resource management. My studies and project work have explored heating systems, solar photovoltaic technology, building energy assessment, construction risk management and circular economy opportunities.

Through my involvement in further education and training, I have developed learning materials for apprentices, Transition Year students and staff. I value clear explanations, practical demonstrations and inclusive teaching approaches that help learners build confidence and develop useful skills.

In my current role, I am particularly interested in translating health, safety and sustainability principles into achievable workplace actions. These include improving environmental awareness, reducing energy consumption, preventing waste, conserving water and supporting biodiversity.

I bring a practical and thoughtful approach to my work, combining technical knowledge with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development. My aim is to support a safe, sustainable working and learning environment while making technical and environmental subjects accessible, relevant and engaging to others.
