EU Partnership Work

Our Strategic Approach to European Partnerships

At Development Perspectives, we view the EU funding frameworks as powerful vehicles for Global Citizenship Education (GCE). Our international work is not a separate pillar; it is a vital element of our work where we apply our core strategic goals on a continental scale.

By collaborating with European partners, we bridge the gap between local realities and global systems. Our EU portfolio is intentionally designed to drive the four pillars of our strategy:

Inspire Informed Action: Every project is a catalyst for change, turning international learning into community-led initiatives.

Deepen Critical Literacy: We use international exchanges to challenge existing power structures and explore the root causes of global inequality.

Foster Systems Thinking: Our partnerships allow us to examine how European policies impact the Global South, moving beyond “charity” toward “justice.”

Strengthen the Youth Sector: We equip youth workers with the transformative tools needed to engage young people in complex global issues.
